Foundational Gifts for NewStarts - Pray for the efforts being made by the new Nazarene Foundation in communicating the challenge for new Nazarene churches across the USA and Canada. With meaningful financial support from the Nazarene Foundation, hopes are to provide an additional funding track of a "Seed Grant" for launching as an additional assistance for NewStarts.

NewStart Sponsoring Pastors - One vital link in the NewStart strategy remains the sponsoring Nazarene pastor and church. The number of new churches launched can be directly linked to the number of churches and pastors willing to mother a daughter congregation. Pray with us for hundreds of existing leaders to respond to this call.

NewStart District Coordinators - Across the USA and Canada, district leaders are emerging who see the missional challenge for starting dozens of new Nazarene churches across their districts. Pray for these key leaders on each district for the Lord's enabling and empowering for the challenges they face.

The New Milestone - In August, the Church of the Nazarene celebrated the first 1,000 NewStarts registered in the USA and Canada in the past decade. In each of the past four years, over 100 new Nazarene churches have reported statistics for the first time. Keep praying for these hundreds of NewStart pastors and congregations as they spring to life, that they will grow to strong new missional churches.

PALCON Workshops - Thank you for praying for the 90 NewStart workshops held across the nine regions this past summer. A variety of presenters shared the strategies for starting strong churches -- with exciting results. Estimates are nearly 130 new Nazarene churches will be started from those training sessions.

Evangelism Impact - The record number of new Nazarenes this year can be directly tied to the new churches that have started in the past ten years. Once again we are relearning that the best way to reach new people with the gospel is through new churches. Pray for the continued evangelistic fruitfulness of these new churches and that their "fruit will remain."
